The story of Towel City Tavern began in 2016, when Cabarrus Brewing Company and the Kannapolis Cannonballers (then the Intimidators) partnered to create something truly local. As downtown Kannapolis underwent a bold transformation, we saw an opportunity to craft a space where great food, craft beer, and community come together.

Today, Towel City Tavern is proud to serve as a gathering place for all of Cabarrus County—a spot to share meals, celebrate moments, and enjoy the best of what makes our hometown special.
