Towel City Tavern to Launch Its Soft Opening on Tuesday
After years of planning, the much-anticipated Towel City Tavern in downtown Kannapolis will begin its soft opening to the public on Tuesday.
The barbecue restaurant, which has been beset by multiple delays, is on the ground floor of the Stadium Lofts, an apartment complex next to Atrium Health Ballpark.
“I’m both excited … and a little nervous,” said the restaurant’s owner, Steve Steinbacher, who also runs Cabarrus Brewing Company.
